Scouting Quote of the Week:
"Scoutcraft is a means through which the veriest hooligan can be brought to higher thought and to the elements of faith in God; and, coupled with the Scout's obligation to do a good turn every day, it gives the base of Duty to God and to Neighbour on which the parent or pastor can build with greater ease the form of belief that is desired." Robert Baden-Powell

Dearborn Hike - December 16th

Posted on Oct 16 2017 - 9:43pm

I have heard the older scouts talk about the Dearborn Hike that the troop used to do in December back when Frank Gonzales was the scoutmaster. I have contacted Frank and he is willing to once again guide the troop on this outing on December 16th. I will get out permissions slips as soon as Frank and I confirm all the times and details. For now, please save the date so you can take part in this event. I have never yet taken part in this, but all those who did in the past had said it was a very fun outing for the scouts and parents.
